... in the few remaining minutes before everybody wakes up, that habeus corpus is highly overrated. I mean, so what if the government can declare you to be an enemy combatant -- even if you're a citizen -- and lock you away with absolutely no right of appeal, and then do horrible things to you that aren't really torture because the President decides what is and isn't torture?Hey, if it keeps us safe and free, that's good enough for me!
